join多指参加某组织，成为其中的一个成员. 例：①I will never forget the day when I joined the Party.我永远也忘不了入党的那一天。 ②Will you join us for dinner?请你和我们一起吃饭好吗？ take part in指参加群众性活动、会议、劳动、游行等,往往指参加者持有积极的态度，起一份作用 例：①Will you take part in the English evening?同我们一起参加英语晚会好吗？ ②All the students took an active part in the thorough cleaning.所有的学生都积极参加了大扫除。 这几个有时候也会和它们区分 我打出来了 join in通常指参加某种活动，尤其指和其他人一起参加某项活动 例：①May I join in the game?我可以参加这个比赛吗？ ②I hope you”ll all join in the discussion.我希望你们大家都参加讨论 一般还会有个attend和他们区分 attend后面一般加meeting

take part in和join的区别及用法 join及物动词加入（团体，组织，参军）、同……一起干或玩、连接 例句：I joined the Party in 1975. （我1975年入党。） His brother joined the army two years ago. （两年前他哥哥参军。） They are planning to join the two towns by a railway. （他们在计划用一条铁路把两个镇连接起来。） take part in 参加（群众性活动，会议等）参加者持积极态度，起一份作用。 例句：A lot of students took part in the thorough cleaning yesterday. （昨天许多学生参加大扫除。） A lot of college students took part in the movement last year. （去年很多大学生参加了那个运动。）
