常回家看看 -
cháng huíjiā kànkan
Online translators say this means "often going home to have a look"
My understanding it means much more than that. In the Chinese tradition that the children should look after their parents once they have grown. to prevent the loneliness, have good food and conversation.
Is there another more appropriate way to express this or is
cháng huíjiā kànkan the idiom that is used in normal conversation? I also understand there is a song by this name.. Thank you for your help
