I'm sorry that I'm just a senior high school student and that I'm not expert at English, espcially at translating. But I'm so suprised at your interests in Chinese that I try my best and hope this will be helpful:
德、善both mean virtue,or goodness.
拉means draw,or attract.
I think of it as a lovely translation that "Virtue is its own reward".
~"~??Do I make myself understood?

I later found out that it's actually 善德物. it's a stamp under a vase, indicating that it was crafted for ancient Korean Queen Seondeok. but thanks for helping!

French Sinologists have thought highly of this online dictionary, which was edited by National Languages Committee, Ministry of Education, R.O.C..Examine on the rightside of each website, you will find "拉" look same as the lower-left character, and "物" look thoroughly different! If you are very positive of the sources of your information,I will be so confused.I am going to challenge my chinese teacher tomorrow.Maybe he can answer your qustion accurately.
